Only 700 of these cards have been printed and they feature a serial number in the top right. Bandai are giving these for prizes in very large tournaments.

In the English version, the first two Monkey.D.Luffy Serial Numbered Limited Promotion Cards were given to both the 1st and 2nd ranked players in the Deck Limited Battles. These took place exclusively online in October and November of 2022. With seven events in total in the English-speaking region, this meant fourteen cards would have been given out.

The serial numbers of that cards were to be distributed at random, so specific numbers wouldn’t be given out at certain events. However, Bandai announced “Serial numbers 001 and 002 are prizes for other tournaments and will not be distributed in Deck Limited Battle.”

In Japan, this card has been given out at different events but the card is limited to just 500 copies.

Corrections & Errata

The original ST01-001 version of this card was printed with “[Activate: Main] [Once Per Turn] Give this Leader or 1 of your Characters 1 rested DON!! card.” and errata’d to say “[Activate: Main] [Once Per Turn] Give this Leader or 1 of your Characters up to 1 rested DON!!” as part of the large errata announcement that added “up to” on many cards effects.

This version seems to have been printed with the correct “up to” labeling.

This card is an alternate art version of the ST01-001 Monkey.D.Luffy Leader.
