Set Information
The first full set release of the One Piece Card Game. Features the same cards, numbering, and art as the original Japanese Release.
The set name OP-01 refers to One Piece and set 01. The name Romance Dawn comes from the first arc of the One Piece manga and anime. It was also the original name of the manga series before it became One Piece.
There were 24 packs per case, with 12 cards in each pack (plus one Don!!). The set has 121 numbered cards with 33 Parallel (alt art) cards, and 2 different Don!! cards that aren’t numbered.
Six of the parallels are only available as box toppers, and only the box toppers are parallels of Common or Uncommon cards.
There are 4 Common Parallels, 2 Uncommon Parallels, 8 Leader Parallels, 6 Rare Parallels, 10 Super Rare Parallels, and 3 Secret Rare Parallels. There were no Parallels of Event cards.
The set features no Stage cards.
Leader cards have a red backgrounds with white text and logos. Character, event, and stage cards have a blue background with a gold logo and white text.
Regular Don!! cards from the first print release had red advertisements for One Piece Film: Red movie that was released around the same date. Special Don!! cards had a white background, with a green border, logo, and text.
The rarest card to find in the set is the second Parallel version of the OP01-121 Shanks, known as “Manga Shanks”.
Corrections & Errata
There were a large number of errata notes on the original release, with many cards missing the “up to” text on their effects.
Set Variants
Only the first print run has been released so far. There may be changes made to the text in the second release to match the new errata. Some changes also made their way into the first major print run, with two versions of certain cards available.
The first major release used One Piece Film: Red movie advertising on the back of regular Don!! cards.
