Set Information

This was one of the first four Starter Decks released for the One Piece Card Game. A Super Pre-Release version was available at the SPR event in Oct-Nov 22, and the normal release version was first available in Dec 2022.

The set features a Purple leader with a strong ability that removes an entire Life from the opponent with a challenge. There are many high-cost cards with character removal abilities.

Playing the deck works well when adding DON!! using the Onigashima Island ability and other abilities to add DON!!. Then many cards require you to trash DON!! to use abilities.

The deck contains 50 main deck cards, one Leader card, and ten DON!!. The cards included are as follows: –

Corrections & Errata

Many of the cards are missing “up to” references on their abilities. Some cards should refer to “Character cards” instead of just “Characters”. These can be found in the official errata.

The Kaido Leader card has been errata’d to state “[Activate: Main] [Once Per Turn] DON!! −7 (You may return the specified number of DON!! cards from your field to your DON!! deck.): Trash up to 1 of your opponent’s cards from the top of their Life cards.”

This is to clarify the early rule change that when drawing from your Life when taking Leader damage, you now take just the top card – you cannot choose which Life card to take.

Set Variants

The Super Pre-Release version of this deck has a box that was smaller and had different art. The Leader card features alternate art to the main release Leader. All of the cards, including the DON!!, had a golden Super Pre-Release stamp embossed onto the front.
